Are you worry and all stressed up. Change your focus from your troubles to the Lord Who IS ...
REFUGE · STRENGTH · HELP
⚓ Three Anchors for the Soul
not “God will remove trouble” — but “a help in trouble.”
🎙️ Three Voices on the Same Promise
The “ever‑present help” is personal. Jesus isn’t on the shore — He is in the boat with you, walking on the very waves that frighten you. You don’t need to clean up before running to Him — He is the bath, not the soap. Come with your inadequacies, fears, failures — and let Him rescue you with grace.
This refuge is eternal. Even the worst thing — death — only makes us infinitely happier because of the resurrection. Mountains may fall, civilization crumble, but your inheritance in Christ cannot be touched. Grasp this, and anxiety ebbs into the shalom peace of God.
The roaring seas, the upheaval of nations — none of it is random. God is sovereign over the chaos. The mountains are not more stable than He is; they are mere echoes of the unshakeable God. We cannot save ourselves — and that is good news: our hope is in His ability to hold us, not ours to hold on.
Lord, I confess I often try to fix my problems before I call on You. Today I run to You as my Refuge. When I feel weak, be my Strength. When I feel distant, remind me You are already in my boat. When I fear the future, remind me of my unshakeable inheritance. When chaos swirls, quiet my heart with Your sovereignty. Calm my anxious soul — You are my safe place. Amen.
Which voice speaks most to your heart today — grace in the storm (Prince), unshakeable hope (Keller), or sovereign control over chaos (Carson)?Take that truth with you into your day.
