🚆 A Story: "We Are All From Heaven"
A Chinese believer and a Western missionary traveled together by train. A fellow passenger asked: "Where are you both from?"
The missionary smiled and said: “我们都是从天国来的。”
"We are all from the Kingdom of Heaven."
The man was puzzled: one looked Chinese, one Western. How could they share the same home?
“Our earthly birthplaces differ, but our true citizenship does not. We were born into different nations, but reborn into one family — through Christ. Before, we were strangers. Now, we are brothers going home to the same Father.”
The passenger fell silent — seeing firsthand: the gospel makes us new, and our true origin is not where we began, but where He has brought us.

Paul declares what is already done, not what we must achieve. From separation & fear → into light & belonging. Like being carried across the border by the King Himself — entirely His initiative, His power, His cost.

——《大学》As Da Xue teaches: things have root and branch, beginning and end. True establishment comes not from fixing outward habits first, but from being rightly repositioned at the root. Your past is your former address, not your identity. Loved first, then serve — not the other way around.

Don’t strive to earn your way in; live freely because you’re already home.

Heavenly Father, thank You — You came when I could not find the way. You broke darkness’ power and brought me into Jesus’ kingdom. Forgive me for living as if I still belong to my old life. Remind me daily: my past is behind me, my identity is in You. I am Yours, beloved, and home. Let me walk in light not to earn my place, but from the place You have already given me — and let others see in me the same heavenly citizenship that unites us all. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
