God is Good

• Psalm 25:8:
  • "Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways."

    Goodness includes correction - preventing others from further suffering
    

• Psalm 34:8:
  • "Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him."

    God protects you from danger.

• Psalm 119:68:
  • "You are good, and what you do is good; teach me your decrees."

    God teaches us to live well in His goodness

Believers are Good:

!as their God is good.

• Romans 15:14:
  • "I myself am convinced, my brothers and sisters, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with knowledge and competent to instruct one another."

    ！Goodness is helping one another be better.

    Hence, it does not envy others but rejoices with them.

    It brings up those in sufferings and sins.

Goodness is a Testimony

! Goodness is shown in our deeds

• Matthew 5:16:
  • "In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

    ! Our good work glorifies God.

• Ephesians 5:9:
  • "(for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth)"

    Goodness shines the Light

Goodness is a Measure of Our Growth

• Colossians 1:10:
  • "so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God."

    ! Growth in bearing bigger and better fruit.

Summary：

• Goodness is helping others to be well, protected, and better. It is our deeds that shine the light of God, bringing others to know God.
• "Goodness means that one should seek to establish oneself and then help others establish themselves and that one should seek to achieve one's own goals and then help others achieve theirs."

Prayer:

• May we, by the power and grace of the Holy Spirit, demonstrate goodness in our actions, thoughts, and interactions with others and whereby glorify God and bring others to know Him. Hallelujah. Amen

圣灵果子品行 6 良善

上帝是良善的

• 诗篇25:8:
• "耶和华是良善正直的，所以他必指示罪人走正路。"
• 良善包括纠正-防止他人继续受苦
• 诗篇34:8:
• "你们要尝尝主恩的滋味，便知道他是美善；投靠他的人有福了。"
• 上帝保护你免受危险。
• 诗篇119:68:
• "你本为善，所行的也善；求你将你的律例教训我。"
• 上帝教导我们在祂的善中过好生活。

信徒是善良的：因为他们的上帝是善良的。

• 罗马书15:14:
• "我自己也深信你们是满有良善、充足了诸般的知识，也能彼此劝戒。"
• ！良善是互相帮助变得更好。因此，它不嫉妒别人，却与他们一同欢喜。它扶持那些在痛苦和罪恶中的人。

善良是见证：善良通过我们的行为展示出来。

• 马太福音5:16:
• "你们的光也当这样照在人前，叫他们看见你们的好行为，便将荣耀归给你们在天上的父。" --- 我们的善行荣耀上帝。

善良是我们成长的标志：

• 歌罗西书1:10:
• "叫你们行事为人对得起主，凡事蒙他喜悦，在一切善事上结果子，渐渐地多知道神。"  --- 在结果子上，越来越多地 结出更大更好的果实。

总结：

善良是帮助他人变得良好、得到保护和进步。我们的行为照亮上帝的光，使他人认识上帝。良善是- 善行，没行邪术、不嫉妒/凶杀

祈祷：

愿我们借着圣灵的能力和恩典，在行动、思想和与他人的交往中彰显善良，并因此荣耀上帝，使他人认识祂。哈利路亚。阿们。
