1 God is Faithful

• Lamentations 3:22-23

  • "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;

  • his mercies never come to an end;

  • they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." -

  • ! God's love & mercies never end.
• 2 Timothy 2:13
  • if we are faithless, he remains faithful — for he cannot deny himself.

    ! God's faithfulness does not depend on us nor be influenced by our bad behavior. God is always good.

• Revelation 19:11
  • "I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True.

    ! Jesus is our Faithful and True Lord.

• Psalm 119:90
  • "Your faithfulness continues through all generations; you established the earth, and it endures.

    ! God's faithfulness is timeless - the earth remains until a new creation comes.

2 We are to be Faithful

! As Children of God

• Proverbs 3:3-4:
  • "Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.

    ! Be faithful always.

  • Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man."

    ! It will be rewarded.

• Hebrews 10:23
  • "Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

    ! Our hope is secured in the faithful God. Rest in peace & joy.

3 God's Promises

• 1 Corinthians 10:13
  • "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind.

    ! We all will face common temptations. --- Glory, Gold, Girls/Sexual, etc.

  • And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.

    ! We are assured that we can overcome the temptations.

  • But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

    ! God will also provide a way to escape.

• 2 Thess 3:3
  • "But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.

    ! God gives us strength to overcome the evil one.

• 1 John 1:9
  • "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and
  • will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Prayer
May we remember, especially in times of disappointments, crises, and challenges, that our Heavenly Father is faithful and will keep His promises of blessings to us. Also know that even if we committed sins and mistakes, Father is able to deliver us because He is always faithful even if we are unfaithful to Him. So, come to Him and trust Him to deliver us. May we be faithful, as He is faithful, to our relationships, promises, and jobs. May we excel in them to bring glory to Him. Amen.

1 上帝是信实的

• 耶利米哀歌 3:22-23
