1 Joy in the Presence of God

! The Source of True Joy:  Relationship with God. Joy comes from Communion with God

• Psalm 16:11 "You make known to me the path of life; in your presence, there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore."
• John 15:11 "These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full."
2 Joy comes from Faith in God
• Romans 15:13
  • "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope."
• 1 Peter 1:8-9
  • "Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls."
3 Hope brings Joy

! Hope of Salvation

• Proverbs 10:28
  • "The hope of the righteous brings joy,

    ! The hope of salvation through Christ

  • but the expectation of the wicked will perish."

    ! Only punishment awaits the wicked.

4 Sadness will turn to Joy
• Psalm 30:5
  • "For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning."
• Psalm 126:5
  • "Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy!"
5 Joy is a Will
• Philippians 4:4-7
  • "Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice."

    ! We can decide to rejoice in the Lord.

  • 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.

    ! Joy enables us to be gentle. The Lord is with us and will come again physically to receive us.

  • 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

    ! Do we still have a problem with joy? Pray and cast your care on Him.

6 Gratitude brings Joy:

  • "The LORD is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song, I give thanks to him."

  • "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness."
Conclusion:

• We are called to be people of joy. Our joy is not dependent on external circumstances, but rather on our unshakable relationship with God.
• So, we have to draw near to God and abide in Him. Not just in quiet time but also be obedient to His Words and Leading. Living it out brings joy to our hearts.
• Therefore in trials, let us hold fast to the joy we have in Christ and allow it to be a light that shines brightly in this world bringing glory to Him.
Prayer:
• May we continually seek the presence of God, cultivate an attitude of gratitude, and trust in His faithfulness. Remember, the joy of the Lord is our strength, and with Him, we can experience a joy that surpasses understanding and endures for eternity.

2 喜乐来自对神的信心

3 希望带来喜乐 - 得救的盼望

5 喜乐是一种意愿

    ！喜乐使我们温柔。主与我们同在，并将再次亲自来接我们。

    神所赐出人意外的平安，必在基督耶稣里保守你们的心怀意念。
    ！我们对喜乐还有问题吗？向神祷告并把烦恼交托给祂。

6 感恩带来喜乐：

7 见证与见证：
